Bilder vom Hexagonquilt!/Pictures of the hexagonsquilt

Wie schon versprochen kann ich euch heute endlich Fotos von meinem Hexagonquilt zeigen, der vielen so gut gefällt (mir übrigens auch!).

Hier ist das gute Stück:


As I said some days ago, today I can show some pictures of my hexagonquilt, that is so loved by lots of you (and me, of course!). Here it is!

Ich habs geschafft!/I got it!!!

Endlich hab ich es geschafft... ihr erinnert euch vielleicht an den Hexagonquilt, an dem ich schon soooo lange nähe? Hier findet ihr nochmal Bilder.
Gestern Abend habe ich den letzten Stich am Rand getan, also an der Apllikation des Randes... ich weiß, ich bin noch Welten davon entfernt, den Quilt völlig fertigzustellen, aber dieser Meilenstein macht mich dermaßen glücklich, das glaubt ihr gar nicht... Leider habe ich überhaupt keine Möglichkeit, ihn jetzt zu fotografieren, auf Bilder müsst ihr ein wenig warten, aber ich kann euch schon jetzt sagen: Es sieht dermaßen schön aus... ich bin total verliebt in das gute Stück!

Jetzt schau ich mich nach einer Rückseite um, das Vlies hab ich schon, dann geht´s ans Quilten... Hach, ich könnte sofort loslegen!


I got it finally!!! Maybe you remember the haxagon-quilt, on which I´m working for sooooo long? Here you can find the pictures again.
Yesterday evening, I finished the last stitches of the appliqué on the Borders... I know, I´m far away from havng finished the whole quilt, but you can´t believe how it makes happy to have come to this point after years and years of sewing hexagon to hexagon... Unfortunately I have now no possibility to take a foto, so you have to wait a bit, but I can tell you: the quilt looks absolutely wonderful... I´m totally in love with it!

Now I have to buy the back, I still have the batting, then I can start quilting.... oh... I would like to start immediately!

Ich lebe noch! /I´m still alive!

Und das weiß auch jeder, der meinen BOM-Blog verfolgt. Nur zum Nähen komme ich kaum mehr.
So langsam kehrt hier der Frühling ein und ich habe heute ein paar Fotos von meinem Balkon gemacht, die ich euch nicht vorenthalten wollte. (Die Tulpen blühen in meinem Wohnzimmer, nicht auf dem Balkon!) :-P



And everbody knows who visits my BOM-blog. But sewing is not in my mind at the moment.
Slowly comes spring around the corners and I took some fotos of my balcony this morning, that I don´t want to deprive of you. (The tulips are growing in my living-room, not on the balcony!) :-P
